Chief Creative Officer, Michelle Morgan Spady is an entrepreneur to her core. Her first entrepreneurial pursuit was "Jazzrobics", a fitness center for women back when fitness centers first became popular. She has owned and operated maid services, child care centers and her biggest venture was with her husband. They formed a business to bid on a multi-million dollar contract with the Virginia State Lottery, Supporting the Lottery in service and training, when the lottery first opened. They successfully completed the last contract after 18 years of doing business and partnership. Michelle met with the Lottery monthly as the leader and liason for their company.
Licensed to teach in three states before she entered a semi-retirement; our CCO had the pleasure of educating students in the subjects of English, Business and Computer Technology, in Salt Lake City, New Orleans, Williamsburg-James City County, VA and Arlington, VA. Currently, she still substitutes in the Fairfax County Public Schools, VA. Teaching career highlight was once being nominated for Teacher of the Year Award in her school district.
She holds a BA in English and Business Education from the University of Utah, SLC, UT, and MA Christian Education -Dallas Theological Seminary, Dallas, TX and many years of entrepreneurial experiences...startups & nonprofits.
Dr. Helene D. Clayton-Jeter- is our go-to for advice and contacts in the area of mindful activities and stress relievers that artists need when their projects become intense and complicated and they look for "stress busters". She holds a BS in Biology and Biochemistry, from VA Commonwealth University, as well as an OD in Visual Science. To her credits she has experience as an Author, Strategic Healthcare Executive, former Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Health Professions Chair & Board of Optometry President. Also, in the arenas of Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurshiip and Innovation, Drug and Medical Device Development-Northeastern University. Founder and CEO of HealthScape LifeSciences.
Student Ambassador, Brad O. Spady, is our first Ambassador of 'good will'. His plan is to encourage & recruit more student artists like himself to attend Arts and Animation Studios.
Ambassador Bradford is an artist and his focus is in designing cartoon characters.; website bradspadyart.com. Bradford is a product of the Lab School in Washington, DC and Fairfax County Public Schools where he matriculated through and graduated Langley High School. He attended Northern VA Community College where he studied Art and Animation. He was a student at the College Living Experience in Washington, DC, which afforded him time at the Cafritz Arts Center. Bradford has had many experiences that enriched his interest in character design. Some examples are spending valuable time with two Disney Artists, in Orlando, and flying out to Los Angeles to meet artist Gary Baseman. In 2011, Bradford was selected by the Pyramid Art Center to be one of the artists to work on a special Christmas card project for President and First Lady Michelle Obama. He was afforded two tours of the White House to spark inspiration to draw and submit his illustration. He welcomed competiton from students at Duke Ellington School of the Arts and The Corcoran School of Arts and Design. He later gifted President Obama a copy of his first book and received an original signature letter of thank you from the First Family.
